For months, I’ve been listening to bands such as “The New Beatles,” “The Judes,” “The Beatlesons,” and other terrible groups that sound like multiple sad uncles got together to try to recapture their youth. It’s not that I don’t commend their efforts, but the Beatles are the Beatles for a reason.
Santa must have come early today though, because their entire music catalog is suddenly available to stream on Spotify. And Apple Music. And Amazon Prime. And Google Play. The Beatles are literally standing in the middle of my living room, singing “I Want to Hold Your Hand.”
That last part may or may not be a joy-induced hallucination. The point is, you can finally listen to the best-selling group in the history of the world, for free, whenever you want. All your life, you were only waiting for this moment to arise.
